Description

The Marketing Operations Analyst supports the Marketing, Creative and Ecommerce team with all aspects of providing end-to-end optimization and governance of marketing processes. The analyst will work with the Director of Marketing Operations to ensure technology and automation are integrated and deployed effectively. Projects/campaigns are tracked properly, reports are generated regularly for insights to be applied, planning is actionable and communication routines are consistent. Create training tools, provide process documentation, and develop reports to assist the Marketing Operations Management team. Provide cross-functional and top-down visibility into all programs and budgets. Manage vendor onboarding, contract execution, and invoicing for program and budget owners. Meet all team SLAs for supported processes, providing frequent updates on status to key stakeholders.

This role will also require assisting Project Managers with trafficking files for approval and delivery.

 

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Support Marketing Operations Management team sharing knowledge, documentation of best practices, and providing training of Adobe CS WorkFront project management tool 
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Creative and Marketing Management teams to maintain, edit, and publish dashboards, reports using WorkFront, Excel and MS Access
  • Create ad hoc and exception reports to support executive requests, providing analytics using KPIs and executive summaries that highlight underperforming project timelines and tactics
  • Document business process and create supportive training materials
  • Assists in mapping out departmental milestones, process, and workflow
  • Champion testing efforts, performing UAT prior to deployment of data fixes, enhancements, and new product releases.
  • Escalate system issues, raising tickets with the appropriate team, providing business ranking and priority.
  • Meet deadlines to coordinate system setup for all projects, providing data driven tracking of actively managed team projects. 
  • Use Workflow Management system to track projects and record all decisions/direction/delays/ issues collected, keeping project status and information communicated to all up to date
  • Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement
  • Pulls daily/weekly/monthly project-based reports to help teams assess effectiveness in processes and plan resource needs properly.
  • Helps keep Project Managers documentation up-to-date and posted for easy access 
  • Assist Project Managers in trafficking work when bandwidth allows
  • Assist with new team member onboarding issues (access to tools, etc)
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Requirements

To join our band, you will need the following experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience), preferably in Business, 4 years of relevant work experience in marketing operations or similar
  • Skilled proficiency modeling and building complex reports in Excel and Access
  • Skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with focus on organization skills to meet deadlines
  • 2+ years Workfront experience
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision, highly organized
  • Fundamental understanding of Business Intelligence and graphical reporting tools, including Microstrategy and Tableau, data mining functions, advanced Excel formulas, Excel pivot tables, and data queries of external databases.

Pay Rate: $65,200- $77,000/yr depending on background and experience.
