Position Summary: Inside Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for working with the marketing and sales teams on a national level; generating new business and sales of professional AV, shading, lighting, networking, and surveillance systems. Your primary role will be to collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams on lead qualification (MQL to SQL conversion), warm lead creation, SQL to win conversion, prospecting, sales system data entry, vendor interaction, and other back-office marketing and sales activities.

 

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Participate in lead generation strategies, such as cold calling, to identify business prospects and create a list of potential customers.
  • Utilize designated resources to contact customers and gauge their interest in obtaining products or services offered by the company, analyze each individual, and make product recommendations based on a need or problem to be solved.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify improvements to product offerings, sales education, marketing strategies, and other business-related topics.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales managers for further development and closure.
  • Gather additional information from the lead by completing the project intake form and complete sales or hand-off appropriate SQL’s.
  • Participate in prospecting activities by way of researching accounts, identifying key players and generating interest
  • Use software to maintain a database of current information on new sales opportunities as well as existing customers.
  • Track sales cycle progress on a monthly and quarterly basis to make sure customer acquisition goals are met.
  • Interface with vendors to register projects, obtain custom pricing, and lead times.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

  • Bachelors degree (A. A.) or equivalent from four-year College or technical school.
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Basic understanding of AV equipment and systems.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Comfortable with working completely in the digital domain.
  • Ability to multi-task
