Position Summary: Senior Graphic Designer
As a Guitar Center Senior Graphic Designer, you will provide guidance and mentorship to our designers on the team. Creating visual concepts and ideas that inspire, inform and captivate consumers is essential to this role. With expert knowledge of our brand(s), you are responsible for elevating and evolving those concepts developed by yourself and the other designers on the team. You must be willing to think outside the box to evolve our brand and be comfortable disrupting the status quo.
Your Role:
Working on our large nationwide campaigns. You will be developing creative concepts that carry throughout every deliverable of the campaign, from print, static and motion digital assets to building landing pages, as well as directing other designer when they assist you on the completion of the campaign.
You’ll be working closely with our designers, writers, project managers, photographers, UX and web development teams, as well as other colleagues from different departments. You will attend weekly meetings and collaborate with various people on the completion of multiple projects.
You must be adept with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products, with experience working in Figma, and be comfortable working in a mobile-first environment.
With an eye for design detail and an understanding of copy hierarchy that sets you apart from your peers, you will be responsible for developing creative concepts and applying your design across a range of print and digital media. The ability to work fast and faultlessly is essential.
You’ll be comfortable working under pressure and have the ability both to take direction and work under your own initiative, taking jobs from concept to completion.
Managing tasks of your own workload, you’ll manage that of other designers on the team. Using our online Adobe Workfront management tool is important, as is the ability to manage multiple projects at once, taking ownership of your work and delivering end results that surpass the initial brief.

Pay Rate: $61,300 - $84,700/yr depending on background and experience.
