Pay Rate: $24.03-$28.84/hr. depending on location, background and experience

The Recruiting and Sourcing Specialist will be responsible in identifying unique ways to attract, recruit, and hire Music Instructors for our Guitar Center and Music & Arts Retail Store locations.

  • Interpersonal Communication: Able to communicate through various means with diverse individuals and build rapport. Able to interact with internal and external contacts at all levels, including candidates, in a clear, concise, positive, and courteous
  • Organizational Skills: Able to utilize time, energy, and resources to manage priorities independently such as projects, stay on track, and achieve goals.
  • Technology Skills: Able to navigate and learn new technology systems, equipment, and computer programs needed to fulfill communication, customer serve, and business needs & expectations.

As our Recruiting and Sourcing Specialist, you will:

  • Develop strong relationships and partnerships with college Career Development offices and Alumni networks.
  • Ability to source qualified resumes from various job boards and networks.
  • Work closely with Senior Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Human Resources to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
  • Work directly with Store Managers to identify recruiting gaps and headwinds and identify talent to meet needs of hiring managers.
  • Regular follow up with the respective recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
  • Support and promote the recruitment, retention, and development programs for the Guitar Center and Music & Arts Lesson business.
  • Assist in the opening and closing of requisitions in Applicant Tracking System.
  • Assist with projects, proposal efforts, data collection, and metric analysis.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior working experience sourcing resumes
  • Skilled proficiency with recruiting/contact management software and Internet search tools and techniques, including Social Media, use of Handshake, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques

Preferences:

  • Previous retail experience
