Position Summary: Sales Director 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team in a fast-paced and innovative music instrument and audio-visual company. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and managing a team of talented sales professionals. Your primary focus will be on achieving sales targets, expanding our customer base, and establishing strong relationships with cross-functional partners and key industry stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the music instrument industry, a proven track record of sales success, and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals to maximize their performance and potential.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, distributors, and industry influencers.
• Develop strategies to capitalize on new business opportunities and market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports and forecasts to the executive team.
• Stay current with industry developments, competitors, and market conditions to drive innovative sales strategies.
• Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to ensure continuous improvement and professional development of the sales team.
• Oversee the preparation and negotiation of sales contracts and agreements.
• Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Sales Director or similar leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of music instruments, audio-visual equipment, and industry trends is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategic initiatives.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
• Strong business acumen and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

Pay Rate: $127,820-159,830/annually depending on background and experience. This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.
