Description
- Responsible for general receiving, unloading product from various transportation carriers, checking in product and matching purchase orders to pack lists.
- Responsible for marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Responsible for scanning and entering correct quantities and purchase orders using the appropriate computer applications.
- Responsible for sorting and moving materials to racks, shelves, bins or appropriate staging area according to current receiving guidelines.
- Responsible for organizing warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times.
- Responsible for ensuring individual work area is safe and accessible and helping to keep the warehouse safe for all employees.
- Sweeping and dusting as needed.
- Responsible for moving product from the receiving dock to the appropriate warehouse location by powered equipment.
