Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of complex technical projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and stakeholders, to ensure the timely and efficient execution of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Your expertise in program management, technical understanding, and leadership will be crucial in ensuring the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Program Management: Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex technical programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and budgets.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables. Foster effective communication and collaboration among teams to achieve program goals.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to drive efficient and scalable solutions. Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with architectural principles and best practices.
Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies. Track and monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and drive timely decision-making to meet project objectives.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and senior management. Proactively manage expectations and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Risk and Change Management: Identify and assess potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive proactive risk management across the program. Effectively manage program changes, scope creep, and conflicting priorities to minimize impact on project deliverables.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve program management methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Champion best practices and drive standardization across the organization.
Team Leadership: Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to program management and cross-functional teams. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (10+ years) as a Technical Program Manager or related role, successfully delivering complex technical programs in an Agile environment.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Atlassian Products, or Asana. Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is a plus.
Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working with engineering teams.
Excellent project management skills, with a track record of managing multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and the ability to navigate through ambiguity and drive results.
Proven experience in risk management, change management, and process improvement.
PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience in cloud computing, SaaS, or enterprise software domains is highly desirable.

Pay Rate: $118,176 - $135,000 /yr depending on background and experience.
