We are in search of a highly motivated and results-oriented SEO Content Specialist who possesses a keen interest in both visual and written content creation and management. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Copywriting, Photography, Video Production, SEO, and Category Management. The ideal candidate should have a passion for learning to function with artificial intelligence, a deep understanding of search engine optimization, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.  Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner effectively with Technical SEO experts, Category Managers, Copywriters, and Photography teams to create SEO-optimized webpages.
  • Utilize AI models and tools to generate and enhance copy, headlines, calls to action, and bullet points.
  • Review and edit content generated by AI models to ensure it meets standards for accuracy, clarity, brand voice, and SEO best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI copywriting and incorporate best practices into content creation
  • Perform comprehensive website audits to identify and address technical SEO issues, providing actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Produce high-quality, SEO-optimized content for various digital platforms, including website pages, blog posts, and cross-functional communications
  • Optimize existing content, including photography and graphics, to enhance search engine visibility and improve user engagement
  • Blend strategic thinking with creative ideas to maximize the impact of content optimization.
  • Listen attentively, comprehend, and implement guidance from senior managers and cross-functional partners throughout the content optimization process and project completion.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic characterized by grit, hustle, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Be resilient, flexible, and solution-oriented when navigating the complexities of the creative process.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency in a high-volume, quick turnaround environment.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects to ensure deadlines and schedules are met

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of related experience within copywriting, project management, or website management
  • BA or BS Degree in writing, marketing, communications, related discipline or equivalent experience
  • A strong working knowledge of musical instruments
  • Proven experience in SEO content optimization and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content generation tools is a plus
  • Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and algorithm updates.
  • A passion for, and understanding of, contemporary marketing and design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to confidently present ideas
  • Basic knowledge of the Associated Press Stylebook standard for writing, proofing and editing, a plus

Pay Rate: $58,000 - $65,000/yr depending on background and experience.
