Position Summary: HRIS Coordinator

The purpose of the job is to assist HR and Retail management with processing employee related onboarding and status change requests using the Guitar Center's HR systems.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Production Support -- Assist and train managers via phone and email with processing daily HR employee related requests including but not limited to on-boarding and status changes using Guitar Center's HR integrated applications.
  • Manage workflow for all employee changes within HR applications ensuring requests are processed timely and in compliance with Guitar Center's business rules and government regulations.
  • Audit and approve employee level data change requests submitted by Self Service portal.
  • Create and Audit Retail Offer letters against documentation provided by HR and Management ensuring the details are compliant with Guitar Center's business rules and government regulations.
  • HRIS Maintenance --Maintain data integrity in HR systems by running reports, analyzing data and updating employee records.
  • Run daily import files into HRIS system of record, ensuring reporting structure is current.
  • Manage HRIS support email and voicemail boxes ensuring all requests are responded to within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of HRIS department user documents and training documents supporting HRIS applications.
  • Communicate system related issues to HRIS management. Partner with HRIS management on recommendations for improving current processes.
  • Run and distribute reports generated from HRIS system of record to business stakeholders.
  • Projects/Process Improvement - Assist with implementation of new functionality which will include test scripts, testing, create user documents and training documents.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in an HRIS environment is highly preferred
  • Experience with ADP systems and Jobvite is highly preferred

Pay Rate: $22/hr - $26/hr depending on background and experience.
