Music & Arts is growing, and the primary growth vehicle is the acquisition of other music retail businesses. The Acquisition Data Integration Specialist is responsible for the compilation and system ingestion of all financial and business data in an acquisition. This role will be a liaison between the business and IT for growth initiatives, as well as being the business leader for industry data systems and how best to systemically integrate these business going forward.

Essential Functions (not all-inclusive):

  • Lead data acquisition owner for all acquisition-related activity:
    • Query and assemble business data for the integration of upcoming acquisitions
    • Manipulate data and pull reports for acquisition teams to optimize approach
    • Identify opportunities to enhance data integration processes and capitalize on previously unused or underutilized sources
    • Become SME on acquired business data structures, and how legacy business was operated systemically
  • Investigate and interpret data associated with acquired business rental contracts and understand how those contracts will interact with Music & Arts systems
  • Evaluate all acquired inventory, credit balances, contracts, receivables, and post into proper locations into DAX
  • Lead the systemic portion of acquisition physical inventories
  • Interact with IT as product lead for acquisition related technical enhancements
  • Work with Director of Business Development and Finance team on other strategic data initiatives including market and industry analyses
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills, Experience and Education:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or four years of equivalent experience
  • 3 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)
  • Skilled proficiency using Excel and analyzing financial statements
  • SQL experience required
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX Experience preferred
