Position Summary: Software Engineer, Core Apps

The purpose of the Software Engineer, Core Apps position is to implement, extend, maintain and lead the organization's build/release and installation/patch infrastructure and shape Enterprise products for ease-of-installation and ease-of-use. This is a hands-on position and will be responsible for managing and executing release/configuration activities in support of multiple enterprise IT systems.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  •  Implement code and configuration changes and solutions using best practices in ERP, RPA, and other Core Applications used across the enterprise.
  •  Participate in technical decisions and collaborate with talented peers.
  •  Write documentation on design, architecture and solutions.
  •  Establish strong working relationships at all organizational levels and across functional teams.
  •  Take responsibility and ownership of project timelines and deliverables.
  •  Capable of working in a fast-paced team responsible for maintaining the eCommerce financial and planning software
  •  Provides support for investigating and troubleshooting production issues.
  •  Work to maintain system and data security at a high standard, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of application is not compromised.
  •  Translates stakeholder's requirements into common language that can be adopted for the use with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Test Driven Development (TDD).
  •  Build robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall application architecture.
  •  Works continually on improving performance of source code using industry standard methodologies.
  •  Helps drive technology direction and choices of technologies by making recommendations based on experience and research.
  •  Additional duties as assigned

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

  •  Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science
  •  4 or more years of experience working directly with ERP systems in an engineering role.
  •  Hands on experience working in a public cloud environment and on-prem infrastructure.
  •  Experience in distributed architectures such as Microservices, SOAP, RESTful APIs and data integration architectures.
  • Design and development experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0, 2012, and 365 for Finance and Operations.
  •  Hands on Experience with Robotic Process Automation solutions (Automation Anywhere, etc.)
  •  Understanding of Agile methodologies
  •  Promotes the establishment of group standards and processes.

Pay Rate: $130,000 - $160,000/yr depending on background and experience.
