Job Description

The purpose of this job is to lead operational tasks such as receiving, packing, picking, driving power equipment, etc., guiding workflow and training Associates to improve processes to provide high quality and cost effective production.                                                                                                                                                      

  • Performs department operational tasks assigned by Supervisor, such as shipping, receiving, etc.
  • Monitors and assists associates to ensure certain procedures are being followed.
  • Guides daily work processes to ensure the efficient and effective completion of assignments.
  • Trains associates on department tasks.
  • Ensures reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Organizes the warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times.
  • Ensures compliance to safety operational guidelines, including individual work area and department
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)

Mental Functions:
This level of complexity is divided into two types:
a) The team leader level is characterized by the supervision, coordination and planning of the activities of team members, at least three of whom must be from the same job class. However, management tasks must not comprise more than 50% of the job's duties.
b) At the specialist level, the incumbent's skills are applied to providing strategic orientation for the purposes of complex projects and analyses. These projects stand out due to their exceptional or novel nature and the major impact they have on the organization. Specialists are able to go beyond their fields of expertise to make connections with other fields.


Physical Functions:
Lifting required 80% of the time (60 pounds). Walking, standing and climbing required 10% of the time, respectively.

Equipment Used:
Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software.


Work Environment:
Warehouse environment, subject to moderate temperature changes. There are minimal health hazards due to working on or around a forklift.


Travel Requirements:
Travel is not required.
