Job Title: Specialist, Organization Development
The Organization Development Specialist will support with planning and lead execution of various Organization Development programs across the Guitar Center Company. This role will partner with the Manager, Organization Development to strategize, design, develop and implement HR program initiatives and talent development programs that align to business needs across various brands. This individual will play a pivotal role in the execution of talent management initiatives that will enhance the Associate experience from start to end!
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
Programs
· Strategize on streamlining various talent management programs and lead efforts to administer and execute them across the Company (e.g. Annual Performance Review, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Leadership Development Programs, etc.)
· Identify areas for enhancement in the Associate lifecycle and partner on strategic ways to improve the Associate experience related to talent management initiatives
· Create, facilitate, and manage various training and development programs (virtual, instructor led, and e-learning) for individual contributors and leadership across the business, as well as create supportive informational resources
· Measure the success of Organization Development programs and initiatives using various assessment modalities, both qualitative and quantitative
· Create engaging and captivating communication plans related to Organization Development initiatives programs
· Challenge the status quo by assessing current relevance of process and programs while proposing new and exciting ways to drive Associate engagement using industry trends
· Ensure the administrative needs and coordination of all Organization Development programs are successfully communicated and executed
· Develops comprehensive project plans that focus on the successful launch and adoption of Organization Development initiatives
· Anticipates the needs of the business and potential resistance/barriers to new systems, programs, and processes and suggests best practices to improve participation and experience of current and new Organization Development initiatives

Collaboration
· Partner with HR Business Partner and various stakeholders in the implementation of Organization Development projects and serve as a thought partner
· Work closely with various stakeholders to improve the Associate experience and ensure consistency of messaging and content aligned with Company goals, objectives, and internal brands
· Work in collaboration with Manager of Organization Development to design, develop, and deploy new HR initiatives (programs, frameworks, etc) that drive talent engagement and development
· Serve as a subject matter expert within the Organization Development team and externally across the business on various initiatives related to performance management, training and development, and employee engagement
· Partner closely with the Internal Communications team on companywide and business specific communications related to OD programs and initiatives

To join our band, you’ll need the following experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree required (in Organization Development, Human Resources, Leadership Development, Project Management, etc.); OR, 4 years of directly relevant experience; Master’s degree preferred
· 2+ years job experience in HR or related field
· 2 + years of experience in project management, leading or playing a key role in enterprise projects
· 1+ years of experience with LMS and PMS and administrative software/platforms (Docebo experience is a plus)
· Understanding of OD techniques, theory and application
· Knowledge of adult learning theories and principles of talent development/engagement
· Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and priorities of the organization
· Proficiency working with MS Office
· Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and problems simultaneously while maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the field of OD and change
· Strong sense of attention to detail with communication, project management and execution of programs
Pay Rate: $69,000 - $90,000 / annually depending on background and experience.
