Position Overview: We seek an experienced and strategic Manager, SEM (Shopping Ads), to lead our shopping ad campaigns and strategy. In this role, you will manage and optimize our shopping ad campaigns on platforms such as Google Shopping, Bing Shopping, and other relevant networks. Your focus will be to grow e-commerce sales while maximizing ROI, increasing product visibility, and driving conversions through effective shopping ads and feed strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Design and implement robust shopping ad strategies that align with e-commerce goals, targeting the right audience segments to increase product visibility and drive sales.
  • Campaign Management: Develop, manage, and optimize shopping ad campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, and other relevant networks. Adjust product feeds, bid strategies, budgets, and targeting to meet performance objectives.
  • Product Feed Management: Oversee the creation and maintenance of product feeds, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for optimal campaign performance. Be able to troubleshoot and resolve feed-related issues promptly.
  • Performance Analysis: Constantly analyze shopping ad campaigns and site performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • A/B Testing: Design and execute A/B tests on product assets, landing pages, and campaign structure to optimize performance and identify incrementality opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the e-commerce team, creative team, and other stakeholders to ensure that product listings and landing pages are compelling and aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Budget Management: Manage and optimize budget allocation for shopping ad campaigns to ensure cost efficiency and maximize return on investment.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed performance reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in feeds and shopping ads to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous improvement.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification (e.g., Google Ads Certification) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) managing shopping ads and PMax campaigns with a track record of driving successful e-commerce outcomes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and optimization of product feeds.
  • Strong knowledge of shopping ad platforms and tools, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Merchant Center, Feednomics, Channel Advisor, Google Analytics, and other related technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing budgets greater than $500K a month and allocating resources effectively.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve performance by leveraging CRM data and advanced audience segmentation techniques.
  • Collaborative team player able to effectively build consensus around program vision and drive initiatives to completion through partnership with diverse constituents.

Pay Rate: $140,000 $150,000/yr depending on background and experience.

This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.
