Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The purpose of this job is to perform regularly scheduled inventory cycle counts and perform various audits in outbound operations departments to ensure quality and inventory integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Perform cycle counts with RF device.
- Perform quality audits of inbound, outbound, Store Pack, and Returns areas.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all auditing functions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- Novice proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Novice proficiency with standard business applications such as the internet and email with the aptitude to learn PKMS, Green Screen and other Guitar Center systems.
- Able to be certified on powered equipment
- Analytical Skills: Able to explore information, data, etc. in order to identify issues and solve
problems. Able to perform simple arithmetic.
- Collaboration: Able to develop cooperation and teamwork while participating in a group,
working toward solutions which generally benefit all involved parties. Able to build
relationships with others by offering help and providing suggestions for improvement.
- Initiative: Able to identify opportunities & issues and follow through on work activities to

ESSENTIAL MENTAL AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
Mental Functions: Duties of a routine nature where the incumbent gradually assumes the specific responsibilities associated with the job class. Decisions taken at this level relate to routine matters. Autonomy in the performance of work is limited and tasks are carried out according to the detailed instructions of an immediate supervisor.
Physical Functions:
Sitting required 25% of the time. Walking and standing required 75% of the time, respectively. Lifting required 75% of the time.
- Continuous mental and/or visual attention; the work requires constant alertness in both a warehouse environment and an office environment.
- Job requires continuous dexterity, carrying, reaching, pulling, kneeling, bending, and pushing
- Must be flexible to working overtime, which is sometimes mandatory.
EQUIPMENT USED
- Standard warehouse machinery and equipment as well as personal protection equipment such as closed shoes, gloves (provided and recommended, but not required), black belts (provided – required for lifting over 25 lbs.), and harnesses (provided – required depending on type of powered equipment).
- General office equipment such as computers, printers, and copiers.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Warehouse environment:
- Hot conditions during summer months and cold conditions in the winter months.
- Noise level varies and can be loud o Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts and equipment
- Very fast-paced environment
